History of Street Golf
Street Golf known as "Urban golf" gained widespread popularity in 1992, when German golfer Torsten Schilling founded the Natural Born Golfers group in Hamburg. A key moment in its development occurred in 2003 with the emergence of the street golf team Le 19ème Trou (www.19mtrou.com), which made significant contributions to the off-golf culture on both national and international levels. The sport is especially popular in Europe, where the European Urban Golf Cup has been held annually since 2013. Additionally, urban golf has a growing following in cities like Portland, Oregon, San Francisco, and parts of Asia.(via Wikipedia)
